A Floriferous Hawthorn Hedge

An unruly, exuberant hawthorn hedge lines the farm drive under a grey NW sky. Flower harvest is now complete for 2018. The bloom was the strongest I've ever seen. Not just in this valley, all the way from Seattle to Portland hawthorns were in their finest May flowers this year!
